Lefkada Retreat offers an idyllic escape in one of Greece's most beautiful locations. Surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea, Lefkada is celebrated for its dramatic coastline, pristine beaches, and verdant landscapes. Uniquely connected to the mainland by a floating bridge, the island is easily accessible while retaining its unspoilt charm. From awe-inspiring sea views to picturesque villages and tranquil coves, Lefkada provides the perfect setting for rest, renewal, and connection.

Emily Tarrant

Emily is the Founder and Owner of YoGology, a Yoga and Wellness Studio in Yorkshire, UK. She is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Meditation Teacher, as well as a Chartered and Registered Psychologist.

Emily is an advocate of yoga as more than a physical practice, having experienced the benefits of meditation, pranayama and the application of yogic philosophy in her own life. Her passion lies in teaching yoga as a holistic practice that can be applied as much ‘off the mat’ as it can ‘on the mat’ to help people live healthier, happier and more fulfilled lives.

In addition to her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Emily has undertaken two 100-hour Meditation Teacher Training Courses, one with the British School of Meditation, one of the most established meditation schools in the UK, and the second with Dr Keshava at Sarvaguna Yoga in Goa, India. She has also completed Level 1 and 2 training in Restorative Yoga with Anna Ashby and is currently completing a 300-hour Teacher Training Course with Kia Miller, founder of Radiant Body Yoga.

In addition to teaching Yoga and Meditation, Emily practices as a Registered Psychologist, working with people who have experienced significant trauma. She has a keen interest in how Psychology and Yoga can integrate together to provide tools to enhance wellbeing and reduce psychological distress.

When not working, she loves to head out into the countryside for trail running and wild swimming.

Liz 10.jpg

Elizabeth Brinkmann

Liz’s journey into yoga began over twelve years ago at a gym, where she entered her first class unsure of what to expect. Feeling out of her depth but driven by an inner urge, she participated in an Ashtanga practice. As soon as she completed her first round of Surya Namaskar A (a series of poses integral to Ashtanga Yoga), Liz knew she was hooked. From that moment, her passion for the yoga tradition and practice flourished.

Over the years, Liz has maintained a consistent practice, embracing strong Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Rocket styles, along with Yin for balance and Hatha. In September 2022, she took a significant step in her yoga journey by completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course with Jason Crandell, achieving her Yoga Alliance certification.

Influenced by her background in Ashtanga and Rocket styles, Liz’s classes feature a dynamic Vinyasa practice focused on cultivating power, precision, and mindfulness. Her sessions aim to help students develop whole-body awareness and a sensory experience of union. Accessible yet challenging, Liz’s classes are invigorating and energizing, making them suitable for students of all levels.
